I've just bhought the settlers and it's a good game!

But now I want to play it online, but when I click the online button, enter my name, password, and CD code, the game says I have to initialize my internet connection, and that I might have to turn my firewall of. But I said: use as administrator (vista) so the firewall auto allows it.....



Can anybody help?

It might be your Anti Virus that's blocking access, most of them take control of the Windows firewall, you may need to allow access through the AV instead.
If you are playing through a Router, it could also be the built in firewall in that which may need setting to allow you to correctly access online play.

Ports are:

3074 - 3173 UDP
3074 TCP
3087 TCP

I can't get online either. For a different reason though. When I give CD code/password and all that and hit login, it says that the version is outdated and needs to be upgraded.
Help???????????

Your game must be patched up to the latest version, patch 1.6, in order to play online.

I am now uninstalling the game and then reinstall it cause of a bug with the map editor and multiplayer. I have already beat game several times

Not only have you broken the TOU by posting a link of that nature, the site is also a potential danger to visitors, due to active threats ie. exploits, phishing or similar.
