I'm having some problems with making my first map. I've read everything I can find in this forum about making maps and using scripts, and I have the script tutorial and the map making tutorials, but since I've never done this before I'm still having problems.

I'm trying to make a simple map with several territories with bandits, and one with a village who will trade with me. At first the bandits would attack me when I went through their territories - as I wanted - but the village wouldn't trade with me.

Now, I'm not sure why, but everyone is set to "undecided" when I meet them. If I open the wizard, I am unable to change whether people are passive, agressive, etc.

Plus, I've set all the bandits to have the same mercenary leaderhead, but when I meet them now, they are all different.

I'm not sure what I messed up... but I think it had to do with adjusting the height and texture of some terrain after I had put in the territories... some of the territory markers disappeared, and the only way I could make them come back was to put grass texture where I wanted them to be, and adjust them.

Also, now that everyone is "undecided" about me, when I first start playing, if I look around in the fog of war, I can see all the territory markers!

Obviously something is wrong. Or several somethings. Any suggestions?

OK, I fixed the problem with the bandits and the trader.

Now I just need to figure out how to do the quest properly - I fullfilled the requirements I had put in, but did not get a message that I had won (which I had also entered into the quest box).

I also noticed by looking at other maps that it's normal to see the boundary indicators through the fog of war. I had never noticed that before!

If anyone can help me with the victory conditions, I'd be grateful.
