Where can I find random map generator? I only see predefined maps but I want to generate random maps.

There isn't a random map generator at the time. I don't know maybe it will be delivered with an Addon.

Can somebody explain is there or is there not a random map generator.
It is very important thing, considering that it makes game eternal.
So...can you choose 1-4 players (only 1 of them to be human), click somewhere for random map, and just play?
This is very important to many players who plans to buy this great game.

No, there is no random map generator.

If you buy the game and when you have finished all the missions on the dvd, you can download user made maps from here http://www.siedler-maps.de/s2maps/index.htm

I will buy the game for sure (beacuse that is amazing world), but it is a great loss for devoted players...

I just took Megg's advice and went to the above link. Last time I looked (soon after game was released) there were only a few maps, now there about 70!!! Should keep you busy...

hello, found a way to generate randomly a settlers 2 original map:

since original map are compatible with the editor you can generate, load them and convert them!
