Hello everyone,

Recently, my brother and I have been addicted to this game. We are playing version Settlers 6.

We have always played together in other strategy games like AoM, be it against each other or allied. When we saw that there was a LAN game option, we were both very happy, until we find out that we can't be on the same team versus the computer.

We have to either be in a different team or we could be in the same team, but there would be no enemies to fight (except bandits).

Is there any way (like in older or newer versions) that my brother and I could be in the same team while a 'computer' is playing the 3rd and/or 4th team?

You came late to the party. Read the below link. This has been going on for a while, but due to not enough interest, there will be no Multiplayer MAPS with AI implemented.

The only work around I can give you is, buy Age of Empires 2 and the expansion. They have the right options in Multiplayer, and lets u play with your buddies against the AI, or team up the AI with ya based on your team set up. If you close your eyes once in a while while playing, turn the sound off, and you open your mind, it'll feel like you are playing the Settlers VI. "Thats a pathetic solution O.o"
