A little more detail on what you have already done, and what you are stuck on, might help other players to give some advice. Wink

take the time to build your base first before you do the villages.

What I mean is get your stone walls built and your economy self sufficient first.

And put catapults on a few of your towers.

They enemy won't touch you.

I've found that the problem seems to come in 13 when expanding your territory triggers the assults to become unmanageable - if you stay put until you run out of resources it does get easier. The key thing I found useful to is to build a stone wall around the city, put catapults and archers on it in the middle, north of your city. There is an area you can't block off where the fishing is, roughly in the middle of the map, but you can force their troops to come in past a long line of defended walls brings the attacks down to a managable amount.

Once you've got your wall up you can block them from entering the southern part of the map and can expand down in the south west (for the extra stone and fish!).

One good point about this map is the enemy doesn't seize your trading carts, you can buy iron ore and wool from the village directly north of you. If the villages do get overrun then they will be raised, not sure what triggers that but it doesn't end your game as long as one of them is still standing.

The last mission of the scenario is to destroy the storehouse in the north east, so basically you need a couple of catapults, and enough soldiers to keep their forces occupied whilst you burn it down! Its actually not that hard in the end, get the wall up and it becomes considerably simpler!

Thanks for your tips.

I have completed the mission, moved onto mission 14 and beat it. I found mission 14 to be easier than mission 13.

I am now off to mission 15. Razz

This mission gave me a headache for ages till i figured it out.
Granted there are several ways to complete it but here is how I managed it:

Firstly forget about the other villages, they cry for wood and help and even get destroyed but it doesnt matter.
get yourself at least 3 fully upgraded woodcutters and build a palisaide around all areas of your settlement - build the palisaide gates at the entrances to the villages, the fishing ground and at the enemy territory. this will then give you enough time to build up your settlement, get higher titles and an army.
As soon as you have enough money - send your knight to the settlement to the west and buy some medicine - you may need it later if you havent prepared for illness.

When you have enough of an army (and siege engines) you can then move to the north and take out the enemy - it may take a few attempts at first but if you have 3 catapults and enough ammunition carts it shouldnt be a problem Smile

As soon as you destroy the enemy the villages miraculously re-appear and thank you for saving them Big Grin

I did take some territories early on doing this mission -- not as early as normal, but I didnt use up my first province before taking the second.

I did it with all three towns surviving by going all-out initially to supply them with wood for palisades by having 3-4 level 3 woodcutters. I then took the province to the east and built not a full wall to block the province, but a killing zone where archers could mow down the enemy but not prevent them from attacking.

I had to play the scenario several times to figue out where the AI would come after me, but I did it without losing a village.

I couldn't respawn the 3 villages, I have tried a few times but it didn't work.

This is how I got it.

First you need a healthy settlement, keep 1 batt. of bowman near the warehouse at all times, (if the thief comes to infest your settlement they will shoot him down).

Then if you have enough wood sent some out to the others. ASfter that I have made the max amount of soldiers (pay them max too) and one ram. Start at the bottom right and work your way to the upper right hand side takes a few tries. Then build a stone wall in front of the main settlement and equipt it with catapults. After that ram the gate an snatch a catapult from them. Kill all the military and steal the ammo cars. The catapult will bombard the warehouse untill it falls down.

Concetrate on building yourself up first. When you have spare wood go ahead and send it. Promote your Knight at least until you can build battering rams. Crimson won't come after you until you take a territory. You may see them pass through your territory. Let them pass. You're safe up until you claim a territory or start sacking hers.
Once you're good and built up, this will be easiest with cats, start taking out her encampments. The palisaded in ones with the workers and tents. Don't worry about the tents. Eliminate the outposts and the whole thing disappears. Go SW then SE then the last one is a little further North. You will find yourself battling fewer and fewer troops as you eliminate these encampments.
Next you take out all her outposts. Again easiest with cats. Next comes her final city to the north. Take out her storehouse and its all over.

I read a post where someone just went north and took out her storehouse first. He said the game wouldn't let him win that way. I think he may have just forgot to eliminat the rest of her uotposts. Not sure about this though. I won by using the above strategy.

Hope this helps.

P.S. The reason I say let the enemy pass is because I was never able to build walls that would keep them out.

I can NOT believe I finally finished this level. You're right about walls not being able to keep them out. I once walled up the entire city, so I thought, but there was this one place by the water they were able to just walk around the gate and walls. Anyway, I finally built everything up as far as possible especially upgrading the castle and finally getting the catapults. it took me hours, but I finally had an army strong enough to start taking the outposts one by one; saving the game after each victory. Finally took out the enemy outpost in the east and after that I marched passed their stronghold and when I did that the AI seemed to want to retake their former outposts, leaving the stronghold undefended. I practically marched right in. Took 5 catapults to take out the main gate and then captured their own ammo carts to bombard their storehouse and finally beat the level. Man that was the worst level so far.

I've done all the suggestions on this thread, built up my city, promoted the heck out of my knight, taken the outposts, cared for the villages and demo'd the storehouse. Still the game won't end. What do I have to do still? There are no enemies left anywhere on the map. I've re-played it three times now, but the same thing happened, ti won't advance to the next round.

There are a few places in the game where you can be faster than the script, and it doesn´t always accept it. Did you wait till the countdown was over before you attacked the enemy storehouse? So did i, and received immediately win message every time. i even only managed the cloister to survive.
