Hey all

I have a Settlers 3 original version (not pirate copy or Gold version) and Vista, and I patched it to 1.60 and copied that link with the s3.exe into my Settlers folder, and set the compatability mode of the actual Settlers 3 application to Windows XP SP2.
I thought I had done everything, but to my dissapointment I found out that after loading the tutorial, or after the into screen of a level on campaign mode, it cuts out and a message saying something along the lines of this appears:

"structured exception c0000005 occurred at 0x005FADC9. Read from 3cd53bf0 failed"

Looking through the forum, I have seen a few other people with the same problem but I don't think anybody has come up with an answer yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Hi i have this exact problem i cant hlp you as were inthe same boat but your not the only one.
