I have a Intel 2.67GHz quad, with 2GB DDR2 800MHz RAM, 512MB nVidia GeForce 8800GT, running Windows XP. Everything's fully updated, all hardware drivers, service packs.

try some different video drivers, recently it has been causing my video drivers to stop responding on my 8800GT.

I have the latest official drivers for 8800GT installed.

I would try the older one's as the game use to work fine maybe try the 186 drivers or try the 191 beta driver.
