Only if you set the graphics to the lowest levels in the game options screen.

I have an Nividia xfxGeForce 8400 GS 512 MB with 256 on its board. This is the only one supported by my puter and luckily it appears that for ubisoft products too.

My computer doesn't meet min requirements on the pixel shader. How and where can I update or get a better one.

Well, I tried the game on Geforce 8600GT with 178.13_geforce_winxp_32bit_english_whql.

Game plays pretty much perfectly as can be, no problems.

I use a ATI Raden 3200 Graphics built into mother board.

I've just bought The Settlers - Rise of an Empire from Amazon and read in the small print that it only works with certain graphics cards. We have a Toshiba laptop with an ATI MOBILITY RADEON X600 SE graphics card. Will the program run? Please can someone answer soon, as I'll need to get something else before Christmas if the program won't work.

I have a AMD4870 X2 with drivers 9.1, however this problem has happened on older drivers as well. I have Vista 64 bit.

This problem is with the Demo for settlers 6.

The Error reads: Graphics Adapter Dose not meet minimum requirements. At least 70MB of available video memory required, only -1294 MB detected.

That's a bug that was found a corrected during the open beta, they fixed it for the game, but the demo had already been released with the bug, and they never got round to doing a corrected version of the demo unfortunately.
Basically, it only happens with large amounts of video ram, either on the card, or with the extra ram that Vista makes available, once it gets above a certain level, the ram is detected as a negative amount, and the demo won't install.

Nvidia Geforce 7600 GT 256MB - driver version 6.14.11.7824 (date 7.10.2008).
Works perfectly.

MacbookPro 13" with NVidia 9400M works like a charm. Driver version I dont know, its the one which came with the macbook install disc.

BFG GeForce GTX 260, and using the driver that came on the CD with it. Running 4gigs of ram and a pentium D 3.2ghz dual core.
