i used to play this game when it first came out every day online, there used to be thousands online at a tieme playing it, now i decided to get it out today and give it anoth whirl, but i cant find anyone online, where do people play theses days?

i know.... the servers have been down... i wanna play so bad. its the best game ever. dam u ubi. why did you have to take the servers down.

my idea is to start our own website, and make raven shield great again. we can change the files to connect it to a different server.

i just miss all the people that played the game...

I never played it online, mainly because, until recently, I had dial up - but I must say, I agree it was the best of the FPS of its time. Maybe even ALL TIME!!!!!

I'm still am entertained by it, and it has,at least, three levels I have NOT completely mastered (namely the Import/Export level - can't remember what level #). That goes for the the add-on, Athena Sword too, that has one level that still keeps me guessing...

I can always get myself up for a little Raven Shield, with my team of Ding Chavez, Danny Bogart, Alexandre Noronha, and Andrew Burke (which is always mt Red Team). My "inside joke" is that, since I don't trust the French or the Russians, I never use Loiselle or the two Russians within the game, no matter who dies on a mission. I used one of the Russians on the first airport mission in Cayman Brac, and he shot me (lol), so I've put the "Code Red" on him and his buddy. I'll use Jorg Walther and Lars before I'll use them, and I'm not that big of a fan of the German government either. However, I'll admit Jorg can shoot like a pro, and he does do it well in the last level at the Argentinian Carnivale...

Wow, that is like taking me back to the good ole days, four years ago, just like reunions.

Does anyone know the reason why they shut down the servers? Is Athena Sword servers still up and running? I am thinking there werent enough online players to keep them going which is total crap.

RvS servers are still up afaik. I was just playing yesterday.
