ok i have found out a fix

..sign in without your headset

worked for me

then as SOON as u get on press A to enter a search

or go STRAIGHT to inbox and press Y to delete..if you want to keep the messages, I'm sorry but they are the main reason why this bug happens

My game kept freezing last night everytime I signed into xbox live. I will try signing in with out the headset in.

No the gun not firing is not the framefate thing. But I do know what you mean, and that should be addressed as well. I get that framerate problem almost everytime there's 3 or 4 guys real close shooting one another. But the gun that wont shoot problem is specific, in that I definitely noticed it happen when the framerate was good, with only one guy, even when he is far away. I can have him sighted in for a long way out and the trigger button does nothing over and over again, and when I get it fixed (by zooming in and out) the guy is on top of me killing me.

I suppose it might be related to the framerate issue, but I can say that it happens while the framerate seems just fine.

I havent tried it yet b/c Im still at work, but I will post back if it works or not. I also read about some people having to turn off "auto sign in" in the xbox dashboard, and unplugging their ethernet cable, then start the game, plug the ethernet cable back in, and sign into xbox live. Im going to try all of these, and let you know what works.

This is crazy. I should be able to turn on my xbox and start playing on xbox live with out having to do all of this c-r-a-p. >:/

I may have found a bug and a fix for it, this is for the people who play ( or try to ) a P.E.C. game.

a) Do you join a game and cannot hear the other people in the room then loose connection ?

b) Do you try to join a friend via a request and cannot join them at all ?

Well I turned the enhanced targeting on in options/gameplay last night in terrorist hunt but when I went back to team sharpshooter p.e.c. game neither of my friends could join or when they did the above a or b would happen. They had both turned this option on earlier also. So I turned it off again and reset my xbox, problem solved. Now I have had no time to double/triple check this bug and fix but I will early tonight and post back here. Hope this helps people.

So United, did it work?

Yes it worked. I had to unplug the xbox live communicator from the controller before I turned on xbox. I could plug the communicatorback in after I got pass the main menu where you select Single Player, Multiplayer etc.

I have problems making an account on lockdown (PS2) i can go online but i cant make an account so i cant play the game online!!!

When I host a game no one can talk in the lobby.

I can usually Host 2 16 player Xbox LIVE games at once. (UL: 1 MB, DL 8MB)

Yes, I have voice on.

Yes, we can talk in every other XBOX LIVE game title that I host.

Yes, NAT settings are all at 1

Is this a known problem?

why are the stars to show connectivity in the game inaccurate. I see tons of 1 stars. Players that were 3 stars in black arrow. My room runs well sometimes with 3 or 4 one stars in it. Then terrible with 1 or 2 one stars. Is there some program problem with this? is there going to be a patch?

Thanks for this as this happend to me yesterday for the first time and is very annoying i have my enhanced targeting turned off but im not sure if my friends have sp i will try this out today and let you know if it works for us too.

yea. When you are in the process of zooming nad fire a round it locks up the firng on the gun for some odd reason.

But again many of the guns are less accurate zoomed in then not zoomed which still perplexs me.

Hello. I got Lockdown not too long ago for the PlayStation 2 (This forum is for PS2 Also, Right?) and I played single player. After I got good enough I decided to try online. Once I got connected I tried to log into Ubi.com with my Account Cpt.Markoe. It says 'Connecting to Ubi.com...' for a while, then it says 'Could not connect to Ubi.com. Please verify your network connection. Also, sometimes it'll log me on and ill be online for a split second then kick me off saying 'Disconnected from Ubi.com'. I know all of my internet cords are plugged in, I double check every time. I don't know what the problem is. I really want to play online, and I tried calling GameStop but they didn't know what to do. Can someone please help me with this, I would really appreciate

I have RB6 Locdown for PS2 and it wont even let me sign in at all, it freezes...does anyone know why?? please..help UBI support is worhtless

exactly. nothing like the screen locking up on you in the middle of "CQB".

im having trouble logging on with ps2 also, but this looks like an xbox exclusive board. but judging the online aspects of the game just from the forums here im soooo glad that i can take this garbage back to blockbuster..

I dont think its MEANT to be xbox exclusive, i think it just happens that way ...
Besides, from what ive heard, the online ps2 thing isnt exactly great, and youd be better off getting an xbox anyhoo ..

And i dont think the framerate issue is the same one as the freezing gun issue ... ive seen em both, and i dont think the framerate drops when the gun freezes ... um .. sound odd, but it seems more like it zooms then freezes, but im not always zoomed when it happens .. .it needs sorting, whatever it is ...
Stars - seems the star thing is ok IN a lobby (but if you join while a group is playing, youll prolly have one star for a few games. Leaving and rejoining fixes it mostly) but its no good in the Optimatch at all ... some nights im right at the top of the USA optimatch lists, and other nights im not even on the UK lists ...lol. ..fix it Ubi !!! ..

Still waiting on the update, still hoping itll fix the worst stuff, still p***** off at the devs who released it like this. ... good punishment would be to tie em to chairs, and make em play it on Subway with pistols, on a 56k dial up connection ...

i got the thing where the gun locks up too but its only after i reload...and it wont let me shoot, zoom, change, throw a grenade, or order the peepz what to do >_> ...its etremley annoying.
