This is a compiled list of some issues and how you might be able to resolve them.

Q1 – I get dropped out of or cannot connect to Live games. What can I do?
A1 – So far a lot of this seems router or firewall related. Check the firmware of your router and make sure its up to date. Also check if you might be having firewall issues. Even if you aren’t experiencing problems on other games, you could see them here due to the nature of P.E.C. Further more, not all routers work very well with Xbox Live! Microsoft has a list you can refer to for more info. The list of devices and firmware is kept at http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/connect/routerlanding.htm

Q2 – My P.E.C menu is greyed out and I cannot select it?
A2 – We have had different solutions reported here. A few just rebooted their xbox, and then everything worked fine. Others said the issue resolved itself over time. If your P.E.C menu is greyed out and it remains that way for an extended period of time, please let me know ASAP through a PM so we can look into it.

Q3 – P.E.C games crash when I log on. Whats up with that?
A3 – Your P.E.C character might be corrupted. Reset your character and create a new one.

Q4 – I crash right after signing on to Xbox Live! What causes this?
A4 – Check your invites and messages from other games. Delete the ones you can find and try logging on to Lockdown again. This fix has worked in most cases so far. If this does not work, unplug the Xbox from the network or disable auto sign in so you can get to the main menu. Then start a singleplayer game, replug your cable if unplugged, go into the Community menu which should sign you in but not crash you in the process. Then you can access your friends list and attempt to join a friends game.

In general, we have tracked a lot of people reporting problems through the forums. In many cases, we have not heard back from you so there is no way of telling if your problem remains. If you have not been in contact with us recently and you are still encountering connection issues after reading and trying these fixes, please PM me with your problem.

The fixes above aren’t optimal but they appear to be working. We of course hope to resolve as much of this as possible through the coming patch.

it still freezes for me

A friend of mine has a D-Link DI-604 Rev E router and was having problems staying in rooms. His firmware version was 3.21 he updated to version 3.36 and now he does not drop.

Still no mention of the issue where your gun will not fire. I don't see that here at all, but I swear, everybody I play with has this problem.

Just to be specific, sometimes, at certain moments, you will go to shoot and the pulling the trigger several times will not fire anything. Not out of ammo. Just wont shoot. The fix is to zoom in and out, then it will shoot. Problem is, when a guy is right in front of you, you dont have time to do that and you get shot.

I think this happens when in a critical situation and I panic and start zooming accidentally. (any way we can move zoom off the thumbstick, that would be a huge help?) It could just be me, I panic and lock up zooming, but the gun should still fire, right?

I can see this being part of a connection issue, and I'll try a firmware update to be sure.

i mean i seen glitches but this is by far the worst. How could this be overlooked. There is sooo many people that cannot sign online with out it freezing. Its so ****ty

Wow, so im not the only one with a gun that dont fire ... I seem to get that mostly in Clinic, usually as a few ppl come running down the corridor .... not good ... :s

The game freezes in multi player, not all the time but it does freeze.In the middle of a team sharpshooter map it said my character was killed but did not say who killed me,problem was I was not dead on my screen,just stuck or frozen could not move,aim,nothing..even my teammates could not kill me and the other team ran past me I guess they could'nt see me,I had to exit the match.Also sometimes if you are following behind opposing team they will vanish into thin air, you can still find them but they may be way further up the hallway not the few steps ahead they were. I have a decent connection can run a 12 man room on Black Arrow with little to no lag depending on where everyones from..mine is 512 upload with 3 meg down and live in North Texas kinda of middle of the Nation

One more thing on that connection there is no router,the 512up, 3 meg is directly to the Xbox from the modem,no PC no nothing I put it in specifically for the Xbox,my computer is on a separate line with a different ISP.

Gun not shooting happens to me after I get shot while I'm firing. Then my gun stops shooting and won't shoot again. Then I die. Very annoying.

Is that when that happens? (getting shot while you are firing causes your weapon to "not shoot") I'll look for that now. I keep thinking it has something to do with my zooming, but cant say for sure. Glad to see someone posting about this problem.

Like so many of us, the game is so fun that I just play with the issues and ignore them or accept them, but this one about the guns that dont shoot is extremely frustrating.

what about crashing when you click on outfitting or when a live game is loadong gets to the last 2 bars on the loading screen and crashes

Yes those things should be on the list repairs, but at lest they dont make you lose your match because your gun wont shoot when you need it to.

this should be fixed if you get new router or get a better internet if you got cable get adsl it might fix the problem

I love the game....but I am sick n tired of my game locking up over and over....And I'm also tired of the dev personal tryin to say its our connection. I have tested everything concerning my connection and its flawless, and every other game I play does not do that. I am 100% sure it is something in the game that is flawed and I am demanding a solution asap! After this game got delayed for so long it is a pity that it is so flawed. A huge dissapointment

Sure, blame it on the internet. I have an 8MB down and 1 MB up, cable, ADSL connection. I dont think its the internet connection. I will bypass the router though, just to be sure.

Just curious, you don't have this shooting problem? You never have a problem where you pull you trigger several times and nothing fires? You'd be the first I have heard NOT having this problem. And, if indeed you dont, then maybe this is related to lag somehow. It just doesnt seem like it though, the game is not lagging when this happens.

You guys are prolly referring to the horrible framerate of the game rather than latency, cause I personally never had latency problems. I get screwed out of kills all the time because the framerate drops so low and the game actually freezes for a second when you're in gunbattles and then you die. It's stupid. Needs to be addressed but everytime I mention the framerate the devs seem to avoid my question.

When I try to log on to play online, I get a loading bar that says 'Connecting to ubi.com', it loads for awhile, then freezes. I'm pretty sure that its not a connection problem, because first day I was able to play online(This is with my PS2 by the way not a X-Box just to clarify) and anytime after that point it freezes. Any ideas as to why it's doing this?

Why dont you just set up a DMZ to your xbox, it eliminates firewalls for one IP, thats what I did.
