If you get errors like when u try to join a game and it says no server lobby host or on the lines of that you need to configure your router/firewall for it....Because its blocking that connection...Either make an exception for it or activate a mode called DMZplus mode...Your router thinks your ps2 is a computer and auto configures a firewall for it...So turn that off and let it except everything...I have a 2wire Dsl Gateway 2700 modem...Its a router and a modem all together so to all who run Sbc yahoo dsl... go to Iternet explore and type in homeportal in the address bar and click on where it says firewall and then click on firewall settings and it should say this at the top (Choose the computer that will host applications through the firewall) and you'll see your computers name but then you'll see what looks like a ip address click on that one

IMPORTANT!!
u must have your ps2 connected to the internet to do this because the gateway thinks its a pc.

and then scroll down and click on Allow all applications (DMZplus mode) and click done and that should solve all problems cause after i did that i was able to get on and off into games great after all that...so if you don't have a 2wire modem/router wireless gateway with 4 ethernet ports in the back then either go to linksys.com or if you have a d link go to there website and see how to configure your router to go into DMZplus mode and that should do it....hope this was helpful to some...If you have any questions E mail me at GGundamBlue@sbcglobal.net

Also if u got a usb headset and u get that error just unhooking it befor u log in and get in a game then plug it in....that might be a fix too...

i have lockdown for ps2. it worked fine on my old router, but not my new one. it says fwd port 2349. i called linksys and talked to them and they walked me through it but it repeats the message everytime. i opened ports that other forums said to open and still no luck. how do i fix it. what ports do i open.
