I also loved the Dream concept in Myst IV, and Spire was also beatifully done, and the puzzles were fun. Myst IV and Riven is my favourites

MYST IV was my favorite also. I've kept the game installed on my computer just so I can return periodically and go through Dream again. (I also loved that music and video, and like the puzzle as well.)

While the Dream section seemed very out of place from the Myst universe for me, I would say that I, too, enjoyed IV. Still, V is my favourite.

this is slightly off topic but i find that the titles are so misleading. I mean I loved Myst Riven and Revelation, but i kept on waiting for Myst island to reappear. maybe each game should have started with you in the library linking somewhere or something. i haven't finished EOA yet, hopefully if and when the myst book is open there will be a chance to return to that island that started my obsession with these gamesm

And so it ends. I just finished playing Myst V tonight, after about a month and a half. I figured out very quickly what the correct course of action at the end should be. I had no problems in Taghira, needed a little help in Todelmer and Noloben, but had issues in Laki'ahn. That seemed to be the largest of the ages, and the most complicated. I have to go back and get a copy of Myst IV. That's the only one I don't have. Until then, Riven remains the favorite, followed by Uru.
