I found the sign(through the small telescope) to write on the slate, wrote it, put it down - and then it disappeared! Now when I look through the small telescope I see it all the way over there on the piedestal. Does this mean I dont get any further? I also forgot to save with the camera, do I have to do EVERYTHING again, frÃÂ¥m the beginning???

Just go back to the bubble. You should be able to link to the pedestal.
