I lost my slate in the first Age that I tried and cannot seem to find it again. I have gone to the three places that I had been to previously but it seems to be gone. I used the heat symbol to cross the lake which worked but the slate never came back. Does anyone know how to restore it??

Have you gone back to the place where you entered the age? Is the slate there? Or has a new symbol appeared on the pedestal?

If not, you may have to go back to a saved game (if you have one), or start a new game.

I have gone back to the begining of the age. I have even gone back to the Shaft to see if that would work. I have not been able to see how to save games. They always start with the 'Continue' button after I quit. Can you save iterations of the game (by date or whatever) like other games?? Obviously a game newbie here. Thanks! ken

you can save games when you take a picture. this will appear in your journal and you can writ something
