I feel like a real dummy as the dates I was seeing and referred to were the dates each of us registered with the Forums..duh. I do have another question and that is what is after MYST games? Are there any comparable games out there? Where do we go after MYST? TIA for any suggestions you may have. Puppywolf

Because many people think Uru Complete Chronicles is not many times not consider a "Myst", it would be my first suggestion, I will not go into details why because this thread will become a "flaming" one.

Hi Nanoukmetal, you are a cuddly polar bear in disquise!!!! I am so pleased to see the possible solutions for my housewifely boredom that you have offered. I have played all the MYST games , including URU which I LOVED and was so sad to see the online version had been discontinued before I knew of it...s-n-i-f-f...so this last Myst seems very brief compared to all of the others...maybe I am getting used to the thought modes..anyway, you have offered me some hope for my lonely future...(my dear husband is away much of the year on jobs afar), thank goodness for Forums and like-minded people! Alas! I have encountered yet another problem down in the Great Shaft area. I lowered the floor and once again raised it and raced to jump off it, after much experimenting, and found some ladders to the bottom where I found another Yeesha journal addition and then I discovered a long tunnel and a lever. I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of but that lever will not turn. I have backtracked and tried to examine all to no avail. Have you anymore intelligent, (compared to my thought process), suggestions? I beg pardon for going off on you but you have been a great help. I thank you for your consideration and time. I've un-pinned this, as I've included the same information in the latest consolidated pinned topic, and also because this topic appears to be drifting somewhat OT.

I think the slate writing problem needs to be seriously addressed, resolved, and fixed.

I too drew something crazy (trying to slow the Bahro down by having it scratch its head in confusion) and ended up getting "close enough" to the next step of the game.

In the mean-time, it took me seven or eight tries to get the "wind" picture close enough to take!

That just don't make no kinda sense!!
