I have done everything posted here, but the elevator does not seem to go high enough....by about 3 inches or so. I've tried every symbol and combo but nada..... is there a trick to the counter weight??? it goes all the way up then seems to drop a hair ???I have tried to get it to go both ways-all the way up and locked up(dropped a hair). The elevator goes down befor I can get off. It is like I need another inch or so....and it sure does'tn look like the bahro is standing on the plate???

did you try symbol from book #7 ?

Maybe you can find a symbol that will make the Bahro stay there a little longer...

I have the same problem, even I know that I must draw the snake symbol. I've tryed out a thousans times, but the Bahro refuses to stay a bit longer. Sometimes he leaves the tablet, sometims he links back the tablet, but never stays long enough to get the lift high enough.

The lift gets back down everytime before I manage to reach the first floor....

What should go wrong??????

Eh... are you sure of the symbol you used?

There is another symbol....

NTSC = NTSS
(Never the same color / Never the same symbol)

I am having the exact same problem. On a tip I wrote "stand on plate 1 min thank you" and the elevato actually went all the way up, but then immediately started to descend. I'm tearing my hair out on this one, any help would be really great!!

The symbol in book #7 is not a snake!!!= a small circle upper left + some kind of figurine facing the right.

I've had the same problem. I tried the snake from my own intuition, and then corroborated that info with a walkthrough, which said to use the snake. I'm finding that I was wrong. I don't know why, otehr than maybe not using the same symbol twice for different puzzles... But I don't know how you would think to use the Yeesha symbols.

Nope, if you re-read the posts here it's NOT the snake.

The best hint I can give you with out giving it completely away is read in Yeesha's journal #7 about the Bahro and the symbol that makes them do something and notice the shape of the tablet in the journal and how it matches the shape of the tablet in Laki'ahn.
