Please help me, I'm starting to feel like an idiot, here.

red room Ok, power on. got rid of cable, looking through telescope on top etc. What is it that I have to move, and how - please! - to see the rest of the numbers? I don't seem to be able to get me from pillar nr one to any of the others. Plese tell me!

See the giant wheel that is vertical? That is what you have to move. The move is very subtle but significant. Have you been down to the tram yet? That is where you will find something to help you move the wheel.

Thank you! I got it to work, turned the wheel etc. But after I wrote the sign on the slate, I put it on the ground (thought that it was the right thing to do. And then it is gone, in the telescope I see it on the other piedestal, or I think I do. Something is different with that symbol. What did I do wrong?

If the Bahro put the slate on the pedestal you see through the telescope, you did it correctly.

Return to the bubble where you arrived, and see if there's something new there.

I dont think so. I went there, but the piedestal was empty. I didnt see the Bahro, but maybe they put it there anyway. I have to look again...

The symbol you drew on the slate should have appeared on the base of the pedestal. Touch it to go to the next pillar.

This was the same technique we used to reach the Keep on Taghira. Play fetch with the Bahro.

Strange.

I did that. I am not sure what the slate was doing in this stage, but when I went back to the bubble, I didn't find anything new.

I'll have to check again.

Ah!

I have not finished Taghira yet.

I am stuck getting "them" to play fetch, so I tried the other world/age for a wile.

So to summise:

I've looked through the 'scope and written down the symbol/s and "planet phase" for back at the big observatory and later use.

I've been in the room and found the "map" and "secret button" to the "secret steps".

Been down them and found the lever. What fun that was.

I can't seem to see anything happening as I pull the lever. Switch position makes no difference. Obviously something else needs to be done.








On a side note, I also noticed (very subtle) a similar picture to the one I saw through the 'scope above the observatory near where I stated. Alas not enough to get the whole image.

Obviously a tease.


I'll keep reading other threads to try and work out what I am missing, but that is where I am stuck just now.

Should I of completed the "ice age" first? Learnt to play "fetch"?
