Ok, so I am at the ladder to the second pedestal. I had gone ahead w/o the slate and saw the symbol at the top. I went back down the ladder, got my slate back eventually, and returned to the ladder area. I drew in the symbol that was on the wall, but nothing happened after the Bahro saw it. I drew in the symbol on the pedestal, and now the Bahro refuses to move away from the slate so I can't get it back, nor can I get to the ladder because I dropped the slate at the ladder. Is there a way for me to get my slate back, or at least make th Bahro disappear? I am stuck between the hole and the ladder and I can't do ANYTHING!
Does this mean I need to restart my game?

sounds like it. there are a few known probs with the slate and the Bahro in Tahgira. I 'd restart if I were you but first save by taking a pic of wherever you are at.

Generally the Bahro lock-up issue can be resolved simply by exiting the game and re-loading it again. If it's more persistent than that, you may need to revert to a previous saved game or in a worst case scenario, start over from the beginning.

Ok, so there is hope. Yay. I didn't want to lose my close-up Bahro image.

Ha... I managed to freeze a Bahro in Taghira by dropping the slate in the pond. The Bahro came to look at it and got stuck with only his head showing above the water. Oops.

Wow, that is hilarious! I should try to do that!
