I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out what it is I'm supposed to be doing on Laki'ahn. I'm by the windmill with my slate. I have a feeling I'm supposed to make wind by drawing the wind symbol. I've drawn the symbol and dropped it. The Bahro picked it up once and returned it to the bubble, all the other times they just look at it and leave it without taking it. Can someone please clarify what I'm supposed to be doing? I just want to enjoy the game, but I'm getting really frustrated because I feel like I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing!!

I actually just read that thread about an hour ago when I was trying to figure this out on my own. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be dense, but I'm just having some difficulty. Just answer me this: Do I need the help of the Bahro to make wind?

Yes, and I would suggest you drop the slate in front of the windmill near the arena if you have problems with the Bahro. When I played that puzzle (many times), I did have to wait (once in a while) many minutes (ramdon) before he came back (3-5 min).

I would also suggest you make a save b4 dropping the slate until you get the right drawing. You then could delete the save (pictures) you do not want.

You know what the problem was? I wasn't drawing the symbol big enough. As soon as a drew the symbol to fill the whole slate, it worked!
