I haven't seen any one else ask this question, so I must be dense. How can I figure out the color maze and do I have to open the trade house first? I couldn't open the trade house door so I went up the elevator now I am stuck up there until I figure out the color scheme. I read some threads and went back to a previous game and looked through the windows. I only saw one shape (on the wall) and 1 colored gem. What am I missing? Just a little nudge, not a spoiler, please. Thanks.

try looking through the windows to the trade house again. You should be able to close up on a particular item....

Thanks Leo for the tip. duh!!! I got into the house and found my clue for the color maze. The problem is that I followed the color sequence of my clue (I mapped out the entire route in the maze) and nothing happened when I pushed the last button. Sorry to be such a "Mary" about this but I hate weight/timed things. I have no patience for them. Any more tips? Thanks

You had to take something into account when using the code to get into the Trade House.
Have you done the same with the code for the maze?

Oh, and look carefully, on some monitors yellow and green are hard to distinguish from each other.

Thanks Vogelaar. This is not my favorite age.

I mapped the maze on paper, showing all forks in the passageways and the color of light at the forks. Once I'd gotten the color sequence as noted above, all I had to do was look at my map and find the single path that used the same color sequence.

I think I had two paths with the solution, but only one was the correct one.
