I have already gotten up the tower once with the weight combo. When I left the jewelers house and went back in to the water I forgot to hit the button. I tried to get back up the tower to retrace my steps, but can't get the tower to make me level with the walkway. Don't want hints . . want an answer please!

I am not too sure what you mean. What button are you refering to ? After going up the "elevator" with the red weight, did you succeed in solving the corridor and door puzzle which should have taken you outside near a beach ?

Sorry for the second post but the editing software is not working properly (something new). The people that made some changes lately must be newbie programmers.

The main reason for the elevator not going up all the way means the Bahro does not like your symbol or you have the wrong one. I have replayed this puzzle a few times and did noticed that he is more fussy the second time around.
