Okay!
I've just started using a walkthrough to get through my game. I don't care if it seems like I'm cheating. I'm just pretty sure I'd never finish the game or even get a quarter of the way through without some help. ANYWAY...I got to the last slate link at the end of Todelmer. I'm supposed to draw that one symbol that is two circles with one in the middle of the other and another smaller circle hooked onto the NE corner of the largest circle. I have tried doing this over and over and over again...I think it's been about two hours (maybe less) that I've been trying to get that stupid thing to work. The creature thing just won't take it. It's about to drive me crazy. I don't know how much better I can draw this thing and I'm pretty sure I'm doing it correct. I don't know what to do. I NEED to get that stupid piece of poo to work and I don't know why it isn't...

Okay...ya know what!? I hate this game sometimes...ALOT...
I just figured out how to fix it and the game is like totally whack if you ask me. It doesn't follow it's own rules. now..before i commit suicide, i will forget about this. Please ignore my first post. Thanks though!!!

One thing that most annoys me in the game that you have to spend half of the game drawing that things on the stale/board. Myst IV is my favorite in section, but I hoped Myst V will be the best as it is the last one. Since I've passed only Toldemer I can only help with this age. It seems to me drawing and "working" with mysterious creatures is one of the features of Myst V.
