After going through room with the colored lights (2nd elevator), I balanced the pivot thing, but am at a loss of what to do now. i can't find a anything else to do? please help!!

When you look out through the window on the upper floor to the distant island, do you see a flag? There's a symbol on it, but it's hard to see it fully. What could be done to see it better?
