Hi

I am not sure which forum to post in.
I have just bought the 5 game Myst set in the UK.
All 5 games installed OK on Windows XP.
I have been looking for patches to no avail, i was wondering if the set contained all the latest versions to date.
I have installed the following versions.

Myst masterpiece ver 1.0
Riven ver 1.02
Myst 3 Exile ver 1.27
Myst 4 Revelation ver 1.0
Myst 5 End of Ages ver 1.0

Can anyone confirm if all versions are current or if not point me to where i can find the updates.

Funny questions: if they are running ok, why would you try to fix them with patches ? Are you sure they are ligitimate versions ? Have you played Myst 5 before ?

This 5 game Myst set is called Myst the Collection & is available in the United Kingdom, I know it is a legit version as I purchased it from Play com myself.

I have never played Myst 5 before. I have played Riven & Myst 3 Exile a long time ago & enjoyed them a great deal.

I always check that I have the latest versions of games before starting them, I find it saves a lot of heartache in the long run.

As stated before, Is there anyone who can confirm if the above versions are fully patched or point me in the direction for the latest patches.

Sorry to revive the thread, but can anyone tell me if the Riven contained in this collection is the old 5-CD one or the revised DVD version?

The Riven set in this collection is a 5 CD set. It works with my Windows XP system wareas the old 5 CD set I have will not work with Windows XP.

Ah well, I was hoping it was the DVD version like in the 10th anniversary boxset.

It's also sad the the Ubisoft tech support replied me today saying that the game in on DVD; can't they get their facts straight about the products they sell?

Hi Ian,

I was surprised myself Riven was not on DVD.
Myst(1) & Riven(5) are both on CD's.
Myst 3(1),4(2) & 5(1) are all on DVD's.
In case you are wondering the figure in brackets is the amount of disc's for each game.
