Hey,

I been playing myst on and off since Riven, but i have never understood URU? where does it fit into the story or Myst? before or after? or kind in the middle? does it explain about the D'ni ciliziation we keep hearing about in Myst? could someonw please tell me the story or Myst and Uru and D'ni! lol it would be great!

To tell the whole story of the D'ni would take a few novels
In fact, there are several novels: The Book of Atrus, The Book of Ti'ana and The Book of D'ni (with one more promised: The Book of Marrim). Together, they provide a lot of background information about the story of the Myst series.

Myst, Riven, Exile and Revelation all take place in the past (late 18th - early 19th century), with an unnamed protagonist who helps Atrus.
URU takes place in the present, and you play yourself (URU = you are you), but it uses the same background story, and Atrus' daughter Yeesha plays a role in it.
End of Ages is the conclusion to the entire series. It takes place after URU.
