then I matched the symbols from the chair, witht he ones from the spinning domes, and then use the Transitive Property to match the colors to the islands.

Well done...and of course you must know now that you had to guess at a couple of the colors because they weren't given to you. You're doing awesome and I can't wait to hear how you get over the next hump.

Yes, presumed purple was left one, becasue it was unknown, and for the small island I used trial and error with the blue and yellow. I think I've made it over the hump. I was reading through my notes, when I reached my notes from Gehn's journal. I have the D'ni numebrs for the access codes tot he dome. now I need to translate them.

Right on Leehrat...looking/sounding good...most impressive indeed...but if you're lucky... there still may be another hump or two or three ahead.

Good, I don't want this to end.

I beat the game. It was amazing. By far, the best in the series. The storyline is so capturing. Yet, I feel like there was so much more that I was unable to explore.

Now this thread is officially the thread to discuss the game with leehrat. One of my main questions is that after the mine crat ride, what is that grinding machine that you see? I thought it would play a role, but never did.

It's just there to annoy you... No no, but it has no purpose for the game. Except understanding the way things are powered up on the islands. Congrats, Leehrat for finishing the game! Now go back and play it again, searching for the Easter eggs. There are quite a few very nice ones! What I also like to know: How many times did you trigger the interaction with the diverse creatures? F. e. the Whark? Five times minimum? Did you see they act differently every time you approach them? Did you notice what happens when you RUN towards the sunners and what happens when you sneak on them? Did you see the little girl? The non? The houses and people in Moeity Age? Did you notice something different in Gehn's office the second time you go there? Did you play all the endings? IF NOT, go back immediately and play it again...

I agree with BirLu 100% - you'll need to go back if you haven't experienced those!!! Did you experience Gehn's irritation (upon 3rd rejection to follow him) with you and have him actually kill you? Anyway...come to think of it...it's worth going back and playing through regardless if you've experienced those. I wholeheartedly agree that it is BY FAR the best of the entire series! So I guess firstly a huge CONGRATULATIONS is in order as well as giving some license from me and whomever else may grant it to you...and the license is for you to go ahead and pat yourself on the back a few times. Well done Leehrat! TO answer your question though - the "grinding" machine you are referring to is actually a "log chipper." It is supposedly used to break down the chips into a paste that is then used for making paper! Everything in this game has depth!

I will most certainly go back, and another question of mine is what is the purpose of the diagram you see immediately upon entering the big gold dome. with all the shapes of the islands
|
| |
|

|
If I'm recalling this correctly...it is an illustration that shows you the catwalk (which you'll have to eventually extend) that encircles the symbol of the gold dome and also represents how the Great Golden Dome supplies power to the five islands (the symbols that you are now all too familiar with).

Leehrat hasn't responded yet. I bet he read our posts, hurried back and is ever playing since.
