Cathyk wanders in and takes a seat at the bar. She waves hello to fellow forumites gathered there and then turns to Floyd.

"A lait russe please Floyd, and a couple of Tim Tams as well."

She pulls out a laptop and logs on - having been away for the better part of two months holidaying with mother, sisters and nephew, she has a lot of catching up to do. Scanning the news items quickly, she lets out a squeak of surprise.

Oh well, she got here first and has the claim. Maybe they'll set up another forum and I'll have my chance.

Hi Tora, why not set up class in the shoppe? That way students will have ample coffee to enjoy class with and Toria will have extra income. What do psychos study? I might be interested, I like to study.

As Dot settles on Cathyk's lap, Cathyk begins to sneeze, alarming Dot sufficiently that she jumps off Cathyk's lap and heads off to find another, more welcoming, lap.

"Ah-choo! Sorry Dot, sorry HannaGertie - I'm allergic to cats." She rummages around in her a bag for an antihistamine. "Rather annoying really as I do like cats - except when they go after the birds in my garden.

"This is wonderful news on Myst 5 - the screenshots look great. Out in fall - I'll definitely be finished Myst IV by then. Before visiting the family age, I had completed Spire and Haven and a lot of Serenia. Then a system crash required a re-install and I've had to start all over again.

"Toria, nice coffee shop - I like nice coffee shops, particularly independent ones. If you've not settled on a name for it yet, may I suggest The Coffee Shop at the End of Ages? I know it's borrowing from Douglas Adams, but see what you think."

Swallowing her anti-histamine, she returns to her laptop for more news.

Dot jumped into TOOO's lap and began purring. And shedding. "Thanks a lot, cat," he said, dripping with irony. But he could never resist a purring cat.

Dot is very happy that T.O.O.O. thanks her for delivering her hairs. She has lots more for him. But she is even more haqppy to purr for him and keep him company. But she remmbers to say sorry to Cathyk for making her sneeze! She wished those medcines would work on her skinflakes and thus give her the opportunity to meet freely with all people on the Forums.

Speedy on the other hand likes to keep his hairs to him self, and is sitting with Neko at the shoppe's windows, enjoying a view he nevers sees at home and commenting all people out side/

Hanna is enjoying another coffee speciality from one of the many ages: Klah. It tastes great! She is busy reading a studybook Environmental Managementsystem for Communal Ages. If one listens carefully one can hear her say into her klah: is there a dummies version of this book?

"No data found," said the coffee.

Hanna looked puzzled, then looked up and saw TOOO standing over her. "Smart Aleck. Jade warned me about you," she said.

"I've heard of reading tea leaves, but coffee grounds?"

In comes Mowog, followed by "The Cat," resident sweetheart and absorber of affection... found as a stray and taken into the household, where she adopted us instantly and has yet to complain about anything. Except being picked up. Don't pick up "The Cat!"

Ah well, even when The Cat wanders away to pursue her own interests, Mowog takes comfort in a nice mug of 100% Colombian coffee. The Cat isn't the only thing in the house that's warm and comforting!
