Hi,

Why...is the only exit to the very first room in Myst 5 (next to the table with the myst book) blocked by a bunch of stone..things???? Its not mentioned on any walkthrough i can find Whats wrong with my myst?

Try another door...

No door opens. The one described in every strategy guide is the one blocked off...by what i can only describe as some stone...shelves!

Grasping at straws i thought it might have been something to do with the demo being installed previously...so i installed it on my mates computer...same thing.

You seem to have a weak guide. I would not trust it too much if I were you. Check all other doors and find one with a door handle that needs to be moved for the door to open.
