i can't open the door in the first level
the mechanism is broken next to the door.
the second door opens the world down ,
i cross around up and down , but don't find it

Hi and welcome to the Myst 5 forums.

From your description, it hard to guess what step your are missing.

So here is a little description of what you are supposed to do...

Walk to the lever next to the door. Pull the lever. Turn to the left and walk to the opened door with the green-lit tile on the floor. Enter the door and walk to the next room. Turn to the right and walk forward to have another meeting with Esher. Go forward and climb up the stairs.

P.S.
I went back to my game and replayed that section.
Only one door can be opened by moving the handle from left to right.

But first I had to link to (edited to) "Derebo" (make certain to unlock the two bridges gates in Derebo) through the linking book in the bedroom to have a speach from Esher. Then I went back inside The Great Shaft through the linking book (outside the big Bubble in Derebo).

When I got back in into the Great Shaft, I was able to activate one of the handles (levers).
Only one will work.

Btw, at that time, I had found 4 Yeesha books.
