For many of us who had played Uru all the way to the end and had a very special contact, we already knew what our choice would be. For some of us, it was an indication for a futur quest to be possible (in our imagination) because we did not know then that there was to be more. It could be said that Myst V became our kind of "revenge" game and finally our souls and hearts could take a good rest (and satisfaction) after a well done "job" against all the bullies.

Thanks for the tip, nanoukmetal. I finished the game late in the evening, so when I had the golden slate, I did not really look around to find an entrance to what must have been the library. Just looked in the window. And since only Yeesha was hanging around, and she was never a choice, I dropped the slate really to have a look round without carrying it. And I dropped it in the bubble so Yeesha wouldn't get it. I was pretty surprised when that turned out to be the right solution - mainly because I did not see the Bahro pick it up, so had no idea what had happened. Will now try to get back to finish the bad endings, which sound like a better deal. The real ending is too corny for words.
