Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with active X control recently. I have been having a problem where I cant update my windows xp from the Microsoft website because my active X is not working properly and I also cannot stream any movies with windows media player. I am just assuming this has to do with active X because these problems occurred at the same time and neither has gone away. I have no clue as to what is wrong with my active X, I have checked in the tools/internet option/security folders and all of my active X controls are enabled so that’s not the problem. It may have to do with my gfx driver, I think this happened right around the time that the most recent catalyst driver came out (just incase this is a known issue with this driver). I have asked all my friends and no one can seem to fix it and I'm no computer genius. If anyone can solve this problem I would be greatly appreciative. On another note, I recently signed up at some website for a free ipod. It’s the whole deal with getting 5 other people to sign up and then you get your free product.
