I am and have been stuck here. I quit playing for about two months becasue I can't get this. It seems so easy but I can't make it work. I have the levers turn so the orangeish ones from left to right are LRR and the blue are RLL. I put the heat symbal on the slab and he comes and turns the heat up and I have paths but they don't join so I can get any where. The only ajoining paths lead to the pipe on the right side. Help me please

 *HUG* Thank you Thank you, I did have everything right! It was the path. I wasn't walking on the path. I guess I was in the water and once I set it back the setting back to click mode. I breeze right through! Thank you so much! |

I have the exact same problem as Iammee. Everything is set when I put the heat symbol on the slate at the lake and the Bahro picks it up.I get a path that doesn't go straight across like Iammee it leads to the right side. PLEASE HELP! I just finish Myst IV and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Welcome to the forums!
The path doesn't go straight across. After leaving the shore, you turn right, left, right, left, left and finally right. This is best done in classic or mixed mode, in free-move mode it is very easy to fall off the path. See the thread mentioned higher up for instructions on how to set the correct path. |

thank all of you. What my problem was I didn't have one of the levers in the proper position. That's the reason I had the wrong path. I'm back at the linking bubble where I started I made the shapes I saw in the keep drop it so the Bahro would put it back. But for some reason there was no shape on the pedasal so I could link back. I had read something in the forum about this shape. Anyone have some input. I feel so stupid about my mistake not having the levers in the proper place.
