Sorry for being in the spoilers forum, something went wrong...??

Hi,
Please note that my first paragraph will be used as an introduction to a question in the second paragraph. I am presently playing the Syberia game and was having problems with crashes and freezes. So I went to The Adventure Company support site where the game is now listed...click here. My problems were solved after going through the msconfig routine.

Question relating to any games including the Mysts: After having finished playing a game after this msconfig routine, are we supposed to go back in that window and undo all the changes we previously made or is it better to leave it as it is now ?
Thank you, nanouk

I've never had to perform any msconfig stuff in order to play a Myst game, but in general, I'd say yes, restore the original situation when you have finished playing the game.

Hi,
I've used MSConfig before and it is best to set it back to it's original configuration after the game. If not, you may have problems with your other programs, especially AntiVirus programs, etc.

Thank you for those feedbacks.
I did noticed that my security pack was not behaving like before, in real time. That is going to be very usefull. Many thanks again.

Warning.

I would suggest to anybody using the "msconfig" routine to create, first, a new restoration point.
I am not a pc expert but it seems that when you go back to to undo this routine, it takes you back when you first got your pc with the first initial settings. It took me a while to remember to try a restoration point before the installation of the game. I was lost for many hours.
