I have looked over the forums and not seen this problem. I find that each time I go to etch a new symbol onto the slate the preceeding symbol is still there. Do I just draw over it or am I doing something wrong?

I am having another problem. The first time I drew the image of The Keep on the slate and dropped it, the Bahro picked it up and linked with it to the bubble. But when I got there, the symbol for The Keep was not on the slate. So I went back and tried again and again and now cannot get the Bahro to even pick up the slate. He bends over it and links himself away and leaves the slate. If I wait, he comes back and takes the slate and links away but then I cannot find the slate. Is this a glitch or am I missing something. I got the sequence of steps for this part from a walkthrough. I am flumoxed.
Help?

grams6uv4, which bubble did the Bahro link to? If it was the one that you arrived in, that means that the Bahro didn't recognize the symbol. If you mean the bubble where the Keep pedestals are, then the Keep symbol should have appeared on the pedestal in the bubble where you linked in to the Age.

If the Keep linking symbol hasn't appeared on the pedestal in the bubble where you arrived and/or the symbol hasn't appeared on your slate, that means that you haven't drawn it correctly so the Bahro will accept it.

Okay, I am really frustrated! I am on Noloben and know the drawing to get my slate to the top of the dome. I have tried for almost 2 hours and the Bahro will not pick it up! Please help!

Are you certain you are drawing the right symbol from inside the main entrance links bubble ?

But first did you climb up there using the ladder after sealing the cave entrance tunnel (re: 4 rotating doors) ?

If you are inside Esher's hideout with your slate, the Bahro will not enter, because of the snakes. You have to be outside for the Bahro to show up.
