Linked to 3rd pedestal. Climbed down into tram. Went to restore power and then went upstairs to tram house. Went out tram house door and descended the stairs again to the tram. There's a lever but if you pull it or push it, nothing happens. I restred power as I said but nothing..

Do you mean the symbol I saw on the inside wall of the 3rd pillar tram house?

If my memory can be trusted, I would say yes.
It looks like a reversed "T" plus two little circles.

I went back to the slate, put that reverse T symbol on it, climbed back down to tram, pulled switch, pushed switch, still no movement. Am I supposed to have the slate with me on the tram?
Is there another way to power the tram?

Hi:

Are you 100% sure you have power turned on? Did you originally exit the tram off the ramp (not by climbing up), go up the stairs in that shaft area and find the power switch on the wall?

Also, the other thing is that the tram is a slow mover, and make sure you push the lever all the way in the direction you want to go and give it a chance to move. Perhaps you are not waiting till it moves?

Thanks for all of your help. I'm still stuck. I even went back to a previously saved game. Tram station door locked. Made sure power was on in the red room. Went downstairs by 3rd pedestal, got into tram, walked upstairs to turn power on, pressed button, went up secret stairs, went by the pedestal, climbed down to the tram. Pulled switch, waited a full minute, nothing, pushed switch ,waited, nothing. What can the problem be?
