Where To Post

We ask that you please keep all discussion of game spoilers - including puzzle solutions, areas found only after solving a number of puzzles, and most especially the endgame - to the Hints, Tips, and Spoilers Forum. As the name implies, requests for assistance with the game's puzzles should be posted there as well. Discussions of easter eggs, game hacks (like flymode), etc. should also be posted there.

If you're having technical issues with the game (it won't install, it crashes, etc.), please post your topic in the Technical Help and Advice Forum.

Please be aware that any topics that belong in these other forums will be moved there, so if your topic disappears, try checking these forums for it.

Signatures and Avatars

This is an important notice for ANY forum member, regardless of how long you've been here. New community-wide guidelines for signatures and avatars have been handed down from the community management staff at UbiSoft. The full details of these guidelines can be found in this topic. If you wish to test a signature or avatar, please do so in this forum. Test topics in any other forum will be locked.

Known Bugs and Other Game Issues
The Slate's handwriting recognition is very touchy.
Please do not draw random symbols on the Slates, as the Bahro may misinterpret them in rather spectacular ways. As a rule of thumb, the only symbols you should draw on the Slates are those which are inside a Slate-shaped outline. More often than not, these symbols will be glowing, but don't assume that any glowing symbol should be drawn on the Slate. Unexpected results are likely to occur if you draw other symbols, including the Bahro taking your Slate to the end of the Age before you're finished. It is the recommendation of the volunteer support members here on these forums that you save your game often by taking photos with your in-game camera.

Do not exit the game while standing on the first Laki'ahn elevator.
This is fairly self-explanatory, and for the sake of not giving anything away, that's all I'll say about it, but it should be pretty evident what I'm referring to when you get there. Exiting or saving your game in this location could result in becoming stuck within the elevator pillar upon reloading the game.

If the Bahro freeze when picking up the Slate, exit the game and reload your player. The issue should be resolved.

If the Bahro does not pick up your Slate, you're not standing far enough away.
Either drop the Slate in a location where you have more room to get some distance between it and you, or drop the Slate and use a nearby Pedestal to link to a different section of the Age.
