I don't remember exactly what the correlation was and I don't have the game anymore to refresh my memory, but I do remember that a key component of the puzzle was the angle of the shadows cast up top by the little domes in relation to the shadows on the symbols in the bowls. I think that ties into your N, S, E, W thing, but might make it a little easier cuz you don't really know which way is North up top, right?

Worked out the puzzle with the posts and got through.

Got into lab and learnt a bit more.

Now I am "stuck" with the trick with the sunlight and the door on the remote island.

I get that if the sun shines the door works, and if I block the light, it opens.

Typical, making it rain doesn't work.

Oh well. Worth a try.

Anyway, thanks much to all who helped.

Now gotta work out this next puzzle.

The idea is that the door opens if someone stands on the plate in front of the lens.
But if you are standing there, you cannot be in front of the door. So who could you get to help you?

I'm guessing that it would be either the bahro or somehow getting (What's his name's hologram) to appear.

I'm going with the former but still don't know how.

Then there is the "problem of getting from there to the island in the allocated time to coincide with whom ever it is who blocks the sun arriving and me being in the right place.

Am I right in assuming you are talking about Noleben with the round rocks, rotating rocks, etc??

Correct, this thread is about Noloben, the age with the big round stone surrounded by four smaller stones whose tops can be rotated.
