Hi everybody,

I am putting this special thread up because the way things are going we will not be seeing each other as often anymore.

Moderator mszv told me that the forums are becoming so flat that the regular moderators are not checking over us as much as they used to.

So I am making this thread as a rally point from where it will be easier to to find ourselves in the futur.

Ubisoft is better get moving and find a real good new adventure game. because there will be only Until Uru that is going to stay active. How ironic.

In the last few days,beside the moderators, only four of us are regulary sticking around.
Vogelaar, gnorke, Mowog and me. It reminds me of the desert at Uru.

Thanks Nanouk for including me. I noticed also that there hasn't been that much activity in the forums lately. I usually check in every day just to see whats going on. Like you, I am in my 60's and like to help where I can. I did notice that UbiSoft just released Paradise which is made by the man that made Syberia. I just got it and still haven't played it yet. I am hoping Cyan comes out with something new pretty soon. UU is fine if you like to socialize and the marker hunt is fun. But what do you do once you finished all of the marker missions. I truly hope that Cyan gets the funding they need to add some new content to keep UU going. Right now there is just so much you can do. Walking around, talking to people, marker hunt, rope walking up to the top of the tent. If nothing new is added, eventually they will start losing there members. I can live with some of the bugs and lag. But eventually theres got to be more. I guess I had my say. So thanks again Nanouk.

You are right about Until Uru. A big problem that is slowing them down is because of the legal rights and mayby for the fact that they would like to make it (almost) perfect before they publish something new. We did see what can happen whith a rushed job like in Myst 5.

This is a testing thread that is making waves. It started with an innocent small picture of Syberia 1. At the beginning, since there are no rules over there, some of the pictures are pretty big. Later on, we made a general agreement that we would try to keep them under 800X large but at times we over do it.

We called it Pit Stop for the Soul because some of us were tired of arguments and big deep discussions. By showing pictures and very light talk we can,this way, give our souls a well deserved rest.

Moderators are also welcome if you do not mind pictures of all sizes.
