OK, so I have a problem. Runnning the Myst IV installer on my 20" iMac (10.5.7) crashes the whole machine...just turns it right off, at about the 16% copy mark of disk 1.

Help?

Fixed; problem was either:

• An ordinary directory (probably a leftover mount point) in /Volumes, which was deleted, OR
  
• Running the installer in single processor mode (glad I just played through Myst III first, or I never would have guessed that one).

I don't know which, but I suspect the latter, because the problem did not coincide with the request to change DVDs.
