the new patch for MAC DOES NOT WORK. is it because i am using 10.3.7? i have had no crash issues at all. The patch simply comes as a big program on a white page. Nothing to load, and it hangs up my browser. i have tried using internet explorer and safari to download, no difference, and have amended the name with .jar, and no go. very annoying. Also the forward hand motion is SO SLOW an hour glass shows up every time. The answer Ubi sent me was for a PC not a Mac. I did identify myself as a Mac user.

I've got an AcerPower FE, but it only came with a CD-ROM drive. So, I can't play Revelation until I get a DVD-ROM - but I'm thinking of getting a DVD-RW.
You wouldn't happen to know which DVD-RW drives will conflict with the anti-copying technology? [No, I'm not going to copy the game, I just want to play it - but I might use the DVD-RW for other perfectly legal (and ethical) things.]
Sony has always been good to me. Would it work okay in a Sony DVD-RW? I also saw a LiteOn drive for sale. How about that one?
Thanks.

javacoffeegirl,

The best way to get your patch problem addressed is to start a new topic. Click on the New tab at the top of this Forum, then on Discussion, fill in the Subject and Message boxes, and click on Post Now.

I use an LG GSA-4082B drive with Windows XP-Pro and have had no problems installing or running Myst IV.

I really hate to double post, but I just wanted to share my good news.

I just got an Iomega Super DVD Writer 12X DVD-RW, and Revelation installed and plays (so far) with no problems. So, there's a DVD-RW you can use with Revelation (and probably End of Ages as well.)

(Yeesha's quite the brat, isn't she?)
