Starforce

Myst Rev is probably the last Ubisoft game I will ever play and it was so good I want to play it again even though I already know how it plays out.

Since Ubisoft abandoned that crappy buggy excuse for copy protection called Starforce I was wondering if they also released any way to play Myst Rev without it. I have zero interest is cracks or hacks because if I did I certainly wouldn't be here.

Nope. The closest they've come is Myst IV: Patch for Please Insert Correct CD Error.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Guess I won't be playing because Starforce will never blight my PC again. I will keep the game though just in case as it is one of my all time favs.

AFAIK, Myst IV Revelation uses SafeDisc version 3.20.022 copy protection, not StarForce.

For the record, Myst III: Exile uses SafeDisc version 2.30.31, and Myst V End of Ages uses SecuROM version 7.00.00.0029.
