I dowloaded the 1.03 patch and when I open it, nothing happens. Absolutely nothing. I cant update to 1.03, so no subtitles and other bugs may still hinder my game time.

What can I do to open the .jar file and if I just cant update, will it be much of a problem? Here are my specs:

2.16 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo w/ 2GB Ram.

oops, sorry about that. I have a Macbook Pro. I could use boot camp but I want to try using OSX first. Thanks for your help!

If the patch file doesn't automatically launch in install mode, open a Terminal window. Type java -jar, then a space. Drag the patch .jar file into the window, and hit return. Or, try the Java Applet Launcher or Java Web Start (Applications > Utilites > Java).

If that gives you error messages:
-- Delete the patch file(s) you downloaded, and then re-download the file(s) from here.
-- Update/re-install Java from here or here.
