I am having a problem installing Myst 4. It was installed on my computer previously and I then removed it. I tried to install it again recently,but it is saying that it can't find the file common\data\english\data.m4b on the second disc. I updated my DVD-ROM firmware to the latest version, and disabled my virus protection, but it still wouldn't install. It seems strange to me that I was able to install it previously with the same DVD-ROM drive, but now I can't.

My DVD-RFOM drive is an HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GSA-H20L and the firmware version is S853.

Any help would be appreciated since I am trying to install the game so I can play it with my daughter.

Off-topic, maybe, but would like to mention here the DVD drive in my Mac G5, which reads all the Myst games perfectly, in case a change in drive is needed for your system:

I realize that a Windows version of firmware/software might be different for the corresponding PC application, but at least the basic drive itself is a keeper.

One other easy possibility:

Clean the DVDs and the Laser lens of the drive.
