Iâ´m having trouble playing revelation! (like so many others I can see;-)) the movement is VERY slow, and it takes FOREVER to just get through the door in the beginning!! i know there must be something wrong with the video or something like that or because itâ´s a laptop. Iâ´ve read all the topics about the issue, but Iâ´m not that in to computers,(it might as well be writtin in greek) ,so it doesnâ´t help me much I donâ´t even know where to find all the information in my computer or where to upgrade or buy what I need, if itâ´s even possible.
I found some of the answers (I think) with help from this site (in run, and then typing diag). I donâ´t know if itâ´s enough for you though..

You've posted a good bit of the necessary information, but not all. As an example, you must have a Fujitsu Amilo Pro V Series notebook, which also has a model number. Pro V Series model numbers range from 1000 through 8010, and we need to know what yours is.

Are you *positive* that what you have is an Amilo Pro V2020? Fujitsu says that the 2020 should have an Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics chipset, while your notebook has a VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP chipset, and a Micro OZ711 CardBus Controller, while you have an ENE CB-1410/851 Cardbus Controller, and a Synaptics PS/2 Port Touchpad, while you have an Alps Touchpad, etc., etc. The correct model number is important to allow downloading the correct drivers - different models typically require different drivers.

That aside and pending confirmation of your Amilo Pro V model number, some suggestions:

1. You have only 256 MB of system Random Access Memory (RAM), part of which is shared with your VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP video chipset. The net result is just barely enough RAM to adequately run Win XP, let alone an additional application like Revelation. You should install at least an additional 256 MB of RAM, for a total of 512 MB. Your entire system (not just Revelation) will run much better!

2. Since you have so little RAM, try closing all unnecessary processes and applications running in the background before starting Revelation. This will make the best use of the RAM you have. See step 4 in Myst IV: Miscellaneous Fixes for Video Problems.

3. Your DxDiag report shows that you're running Revelation to a "Generic Television". If so, don't, because this involves emulation and translation steps that will very significantly slow down video with many games. Use the screen on your notebook instead.

4. Revelation may be asking your video chipset to do something it's not capable of doing. Try the video setting changes in step 2 of Myst IV: Miscellaneous Fixes for Video Problems.
