I am running an Intel iMac w/ OS X 10.4.7. Will there be any hope of seeing a patch or fix that will allow me to play this game?

I have tried fixing permissions, re-installing and the chmod a+x fixes and it still crashes after starting the program.

It appears other Intel Mac users are seeing the same issues.
