I have just a noxious problem when trying to install Prince of Persia 4. When I run Setup.exe, a command (DOS) windows appears and this disappears suddenly. Nothing Happens!!! Autorun program runs fine but when I click the INSTALL/UNINSTALL option same thing happens. The DVD is okay though and I even tried running it from my HDD. Please Help.
If you can just provide me the link (rapidshare or any etc.) for the two files so that I can replace that of mine and try to run the game's Install. 1. setup.exe 2. setup.ini The rest (My PC Config) seems to be okay. Please Help |

Vivek_sjv,
There may be something running on your system that is causing an issue with the installation files. This can usually be resolved by closing some of the running background applications on the system. See if these steps help you out. 1. Open the windows Start Menu 2. find the "Start Search" text area at the bottom 3. Type MSCONFIG 4. Press "Enter" on the keyboard 5. Choose "Selective Startup" 6. Disable "Load Startup Item" 7. Click "Apply" 8. Click "Close/OK" 9. Restart the system Once you complete the steps, just restart the system and attempt to install again. |
