I installed, configured controls and played this game for about an hour; it played perfectly. The second time I started playing it my gamepad controls were not working correctly. I went to options to redo the buttons which had been messed up and when I try to back out of the options to the main menu the game CTD and says Data Execution protection has closed the game. Now...I have disabled the data execution protection and tried again only to have the game crash at the exact same spot only this time it just says the program has closed, it says nothing about the data execution. I cant configure controls or any option for that matter at this point making the game unplayable. This forum is my last hope as Ubisoft techinical support was of no use at all >< . Anyone have any suggestions??

I had the exact same problem but for me the game crashed without saying anything. Like I pressed ALT F4 or something. This crash started to happen after I got my new gamepad and tried to assing the controls in the game to it and I fixed it by unplugging that gamepad from my PC and setting the controls in the game to the default controls (on the keyboard). After that I could go back from the Options menu without crashing. Then I plugged in the gamepad again and assigned the controls back to that gamepad and this time it didn't crash lol. I hope this helped
