Hello so Im just asking a quick little question. I have an XBOX360 and I finished COD 4 a long time ago and I wanna continue with Modern combat stuff so I was thinkin of gettin AA:Rise of a Soldier and Battlefield 2:MC. So I know you must be asking why im thinking of getting the old AA and why not the new one well the reason for that is because I know and heard the Rise of a Soldier is better than True Soldier. So yeah if anyone could tell me anything then plz let me know, thanx

well if you have never played ROS than TS is not better. infact TS has alot more tactical background and build to it than ROS.

i dont know about anyone else but my ROS does not work on my 360. just go get TS and ignore all the IGN gay reviews. once you play TS you will notice that the guys who write the reviews have never played the game.

And dont play the demo, it sux. get the actual game!

I like ROS more because it was its own game. The problem with TS is that it is too much like other games. ROS was I my opinion based more on squads and teamwork than TS. ROS had set fireteams and TS doesn't. The TS recoil is extraordinarily small compared to ROS. Missions in ROS I think were better by far it felt more believable first the objectives were precise but when there was a change or something happened that wasn't supposed to then it would be up to you (if you were the Fireteam leader) to addresses it and it would give you choices but in TS there is a voice that comes over and says do this this in this to continue and you have to do it. I think the skills are lacking in TS they don't have the variety that ROS had. I miss the stealth and observation skill I know that others have said that it is more realistic without those skills but I think that the skills forced you to think about how to set up your soldier. Also there is to my knowledge skill cap like in ROS. I'd either get ROS and then if you like ROS you might want to try TS it's not a bad game but it is lacking compared to ROS or you could just get TS and never know anything better. Hopefully this was helpful I wanted you to hear the other side before you spend your money. Rent it first and check it out.
