Theres a bug i found in Career Mode.

My character is at the highest rank he can go, and is just starting Fire Team Leader training. After completing the mission, I'm told to talk to a Sgt. I talk to him and he just gives me instructions to talk to two other Sgt.'s about orientation and then testing me. I can go through the mission several times without being given a chance to leave. The only ways out of the mission is to either quit it or to commit an ROE violation.

Does AA use StarForce copywrite protection??

I don't know, but from what I infer form your post I'd have to say that your question is inappropriate for this forum.

We all know of the problem with the game dropping out. The question is will it be fixed? You get just a general response on Ubi's web site. Everyone that bought this game deserves a real and honest answer.

Friendly AI in single player mode are horrible. They constantly walk in front of you or push you out of position if you're set up in a spot they are programed to go to. Mad

I have a bug that not a lot of people have talked about. Once I became a First Sergeant I edited my account and changed the archeatype (spelling?). After that it let me earn skill points again. I thought this was cool and all until I realized that even though I could max out the skill bar, the skill pts were having no effect online. I have a 10 in lifesaving and it acts like a 0 to 1. Basically, I have no redistribution pts, a few full bars, and none of them have any effect in gameplay. now I can't change my skillpts around or anything, and I am stuck with stuff that I don't want.

What can be done about this? Is there a way I can have my account reseted from scratch so I can just start over? It is a great game and I just want to have fun so please help me Frown

The highest amount you are supposed to get is 480 skill points. If you activate the skill point glitch you can get all skills at level 10, but it doesn't have any effect.

I also have a problem with the skill points. I tried a couple different archtypes thinking that I was going to get more redistribution points, but I never did. Now it says that I am getting more skill points, but they have no effect. I am now stuck with a very bad setup that makes the game no fun to play. The rest of the problems I can deal with, but this one really drags the game down.

DO NOT BLAME Ubisoft. If you have played the PC version you already know that AA is a subpar game. The DEV team that works for the Army is filled with a bunch of hacks who couldn't program there way out of a wet paper bag. I am suprised that the Secret Level Developers who redid the code so that it can be played on the XBOX/PS2 didn't fix the vast mutitude of bugs/glitches that have plagued this game since it's creation. You guys have about 1/10th the bugs/glitches that the PC version has.
Head on over to the Americas Army forums and let them know how much you enjoyed wasting your money on this subpar creation @ http://forum.americasarmy.com

I disagree. the game is conceptually superior. the graphics and offline responses are closer to real than most games. the only real problems are the online lags and boots, which could be fixed with the application of a few bucks, and the limitation of skill ability. It is a very good game but could be better.

I have found one persistant 'glitch' especially apparent on the map Capital Warehouse. Players are able to press close to some corners and actually shoot through the corner of the wall. Sometimes their guns will protrude through the corner but the most of the time the guns don't stick out through the corner, they just shoot you through the wall and even though you can't see them they still kill you! Alot of players are using this 'glitch' to kill with and you really have no defense against it. I sincerely hope that this 'glitch' can be addressed or that the cheaters that use this unspotsmanlike conduct have their XBox Live accounts suspended.

Hey, one MAJOR glitch I found is in the last mission as a SF Weapons Sergeant. After I clear the left catwalk, I am told to form up by the captain at Tower 2. When I get there, my squad dosn't move up with me! I can't advance until they move up, but they just sit there. So now I'm stuck.

ok.. love the game.. but i discovered a serious error in the documentation. In the book it says that you unlock the fire team leader missions at the rank of sergeant, i am a sergeant and have not yet seen the new missions unlock. Also during cutscenes (i noticed this in old town) when people move sometimes they slide on the ground, using old town as an example when the black hawk came down i saw a body on the ground sliding toward a wall where my team was. Scary stuff. Otherwise a semi-glitchy game, get to work ubisoft.

Not that I am a "hater," but out of curiosity, does Ubi have any plans to release a patch, to correct any bugs and problems reported?

We can only hope someone at AA or Ubi is actually listening to all of our concerns. All the posts I have read for the most part are all valid and need to be addressed or there will be a lot of PO'ed loyal followers.
